Veterinary Community

Continuous Professional Development and Support for Soft Tissue Professionals

Welcome to the Association of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgeons

A satellite group of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association.

We are a thriving professional veterinary community, dedicated to advancing the field of soft tissue surgery for small animals. Bringing together veterinary surgeons, nurses and students from across the UK, we create both a collaborative atmosphere for learning, research and professional development as well as facilitating general networking.

Our diverse membership of over 200 includes specialist surgeons, general practitioners, vets in training programs and certificate programs. No matter how many years you have been in the field of soft tissue surgery, you will find a place in our veterinary community.

Membership is just £20/year for veterinary surgeons and £10/year for nurses and students

Veterinary Community in United Kingdom

Elevate your skills and your network

Our veterinary community truly comes alive at our spring and autumn meetings.

Part educational presentations and part networking hubs, we invite some of the most renowned soft tissue surgeons in the country to share their valuable experience and insights, before encouraging discussion and, on occasions, retiring for the evening with an informal dinner or outing.
